Police Corporate XML (CorXML) & Corporate Data Model (CorDM) are both
principal components of the ACPO Information Systems Strategy for the Police
Service (ISS4PS).
Police CorXML provides an XML messaging implementation platform for the CorDM. It translates the CorDM into XML as the Police Data Model (PDM) namespace. Furthermore, it offers best practices in XML design patterns, naming standards (ISO 11179), interoperability standards (e-GIF), data standards (CorDM), and a robust, flexible, scalable XML Messaging Schema Architecture.
